Read this the other day... "Benjamin Franklin took "air baths" for his health, sitting naked in front of an open window. D.H. Lawrence enjoyed removing his clothes and climbing mulberry trees. " Abnormal behavior? I think not, but rather eccentric and original. An air bath sounds pretty relaxing, and it will mostly make my summer list. So if your weird and you know it, clap you hands and surely show it.

deaner for life
I made deans list woo. So did everyone else and their moms. I tell ya, life is competitive. Today we took a poll in my research class, "how many of us are planning to go to grad school?", 85% of the class polled yes. I tell ya, life is competitive. Its not enough to have bachelors degree or graduate with cum laude. So whats my secret weapon? Not letting myself get obese, and taking graduate level courses.
so heres to my last semester as an undergrad. cheers!
always loved this song, video is pretty great too.

At this point in the game
Must not give into peer pressure, back pain, and twitching eye. Must give all that is left in me to study for my last final. Its alot easier said than done. It seems as though every one is done with finals and I want to go play too! But I can't. My mom said to me today, "know that this could be the difference between an A and B". She's right and hence this is the reason I am not allowing myself on facebook til Im finished tomorrow; not because Im addicted but because all post follow the typical college student done with finals hype. Which I badly desire.
To motivate myself I have also posted next to me emails from my professors, letting me know Im great. Here they are.....
The first is not what it looks like, it was a challenge since I was not required to take the final . In order to get a 0% you have to know all the right answers. So there you have it, Jenn's only true claim to fame in her academic career. Im hoping to be a legendary in that class now, maybe a plaque with my student id picture glued to it.
You might be saying to yourself.. Jenn I think you are going crazy. And I think you are absolutely right. For the love of the game! Cheers!

Finals Month
They should rename "finals week" to "finals month" because it speaks the reality of the situation.
Signs that constantly remind me that this madness (finals month) has gone on far too long:
1. I almost crashed into a handicap parking post in a half empty parking lot.
2. I wear athletic wear and do absolutely nothing athletic in them
3. I basically own a computer at the library. Ive even personalized it with finding the most comfy chair for it and wipe down the desk, keyboard, and mouse daily with sanitary wipes.
4. Dont be fooled by my cleanliness with the sanitation wipes, the only reason I do is because I know that getting sick at this point in the game would truly be a tragedy
5. At the end of the day I find myself saying the exact same thing.. " Oh MAN, what a day!" (implying mental and physical exhaustion).
6. I have considered hiring someone to do my laundry because I have no time to do it and plus can you imagine how nice it would be in general?!
On the brighter side there is an end to this tunnel, its date is Friday December 14, 2012 at 5:00 PM. In preparation for this glorious event I am in the middle of tracking down and renting out every David Sedaris book the library has to offer. My plan is to read all of them while laying underneath the palm trees of my home town. Yes, thats right, after three years of having to work on christmas thus denying me the privilege of going home ever, I finally get to go home! I pretty much begged and pleaded with my boss to let me have it off. We came to an agreement that if I made him a rasta native american bracelet I could go (thank the heavens for skills learned while working wilderness therapy!!!).
Back to practicing solving regressions by hand.
Digging Lana Del Rey lately. She's got this sassy / gangsta / elegant vibe to her.

Heres some semi-catchy lyrics for all the CPU nerds out there.
A breakthrough in soap
As a civil citizen, I feel obligated to share with you a breakthrough I had in purchasing soap. For the past... I dont know... since my sweat glands started producing odor Ive had an issue with stench. Not a bad stench, some people describe it as an indian food, or an outdoorsy smell. To put myself in the clear the stench isn't noticeable until late in the day, which is kind of normal anyway. Any who Ive tried everything to get rid of my 6 o'clock indian food odor and nothing has done the trick. Ive tried... scrubbing my pits until they were red every time I showered, used every type of deodorant ( mens, womens, natural, clinical), not shaving my pits, shaving my pits daily, scrubbing all my shirts pit area. None of this has worked. Until now. A girl I worked with told me about Dr Bronners Soap. I didnt really believe in her hippy miracle treatment, since she did smell like a hippy, but I recently bought some and it really is a miracle. Sometimes I don't even have to put deodorant on!

Did you know these exist?!
The true meaning of an audio book! They are pretty great for us nonconforming expensive audio book buyers, or broke my ipod 50 million times refusing to buy a new one, or waiting for the price of data to go down before I buy a smart phone. All of these categories fit me which is why I am pretty sure these were made for me, personally. The price of one these range around 50 bucks!! So they only benefit you if you are Utah Marriott Library Patron. Which is also me!
By chance, I have listened watched, read a lot of funny things recently. This has been a great add on to my daily life. And has lead me to finally answer that always asked interview question " who are the most inspirational people in your life"
1. Amy Poehler
2. Tina Fey
3. Fred Armisen
4. Carrie Brownstein
